Human Performance Resources by CHAMP (HPRC) is a DoD initiative that provides evidence-based information that empowers members of the military community to be physically and mentally fit, fuel and hydrate properly, maintain social ties, and stay resilient—all pieces of the puzzle that make up Total Force Fitness.

Fort Greely Strong B.A.N.D.S. Events

SPORTS, FITNESS & AQUATICS 

Total Body Toning - Mondays from 12-1 p.m.

Total Body Toning Blast all of your muscles with this high repetition movement and non-cardio exercises. The class uses body bars, barbells, dumbbells, weight plates, and more with a unique integration of functional training, perfectly timed to dynamic music.

Spin Cycle - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-5:45 p.m.

Ride from the shoreline to the hills in this journey designed to provide you with the optimum fat burning and strength building. This class is for beginners as well as seasoned cyclists.

ZUMBA® - Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m.

Perfect For - Everybody and every body! Each class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.

May 15th - Armed Forces Fun Run

Lace-up your running shoes, head to the Bison Trail, and walk or run to support our nation’s heroes, who defend our freedom! 

May 20th - Family Fun Run 

Commit – Stay Fit! Lace-up your shoes, grab your family, friends, and join the fun! The Family Fun Run Series will be held on the third Thursday of every month, starting May 20th until August 19th.

May 27th - Bike to Tok

Commit- Stay Fit! Challenge Your Kids Or Yourself To Bike 119 Miles!

Track miles every Thursday while riding your bike and see how many days it will take you to get from Fort Greely to Tok.

 

OUTDOOR RECREATION

Enjoy the Alaskan outdoors with other outdoor enthusiasts and explore local trails.
