Learn to Swim - Level 2
Learn-to-Swim classes are taught by certified instructors who can help swimmers feel comfortable in the water and progress to the next level.

The Learn-to-Swim program focuses on building skills one step at a time. By giving them the opportunity to master one element before moving on to the next, our kids' swim classes make it easy to build confidence in the water.
During their swim lessons, children will spend time on the following level:
Level 2-Fundamental Aquatic Skills: To give students success with fundamental skills.
- Requirements: Students entering this level must possess a Level 1 certificate or demonstrate all the Level 1 skills
- Skills Covered: Entering water by stepping or jumping in from the side, submerging entire head, blowing bubbles, open eyes underwater, front and back glide, swim 15 feet on front and 10 feet on back, swim on side, life jacket use

Wednesday and Friday | 5 - 5:45 p.m. |
Saturday | 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. |
Open to Fort Greely Authorized Users and FMWR Pass Holders. To obtain a pass, please call the Aurora Community Activity Center at (907)873-4782.
