Go fishing and boating for a wonderful nature experience!
Quartz Lake has some of the best road-accessible fishing in Interior Alaska. Quartz Lake Campground also offers a large variety of recreational opportunities. Facilities include boat launches, a handicap-accessible fishing dock, picnic sites, a swimming area, a beach volleyball court, and more.
Boating and Fishing Trip: Quartz Lake
- July 17 - Register by July 14
- August 7 - Register by August 4
- Meeting Time: 9:30 a.m.
- Location: Outdoor Recreation, Bldg. 627
- Limited to: Minimum 5 people. Maximum 10 people.
- The trips are weather dependent.
Additional details:
- Participants must drive their own vehicles to and from the site (Quartz Lake).
- Outdoor Recreation will transport boats and supplies to and from the event location.
- Please dress accordingly for the weather, and bring water and snacks as this is an all-day event.

$25 - 18 years old and under

- The trip is open to MWR Eligible Patrons All Ages
- Payment is due at the time of registration.
Requirement:
All residents 18 years old or older must possess a fishing license from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
