Parent/Child Cross Country Skiing & Snowshoeing

Ready to try a fun winter sport?
You and your child can learn to cross-country ski and snowshoeing together with Outdoor Recreation! This guided adventure is for families of all ages searching for a fun winter wonderland experience. 

Upcoming Event: January 12 from 10-1 p.m.

• Weather dependent - All outdoor activities may be canceled due to wind chill temperature below 0 degrees.
• Meeting Location: Outdoor Recreation, Bldg. 627
  • ​Event location: Around Outdoor Recreation and/or the Fire Tower Hill area
• Winter Gear - All participants need to dress warm and in layers with insulated underwear — water resistant and insulated outerwear/footwear, boots, coats, snow pants, neck warmer, insulated gloves. Tennis shoes are not allowed.
