On February 9th, the Fort Greely BOSS Team will be heading over to Fairbanks to attend the Winter Survival Skills Course, through the Alaska Department of Fish and Game education.

Join us to learn the basics of dressing comfortably for the cold and how to keep yourself alive in an emergency. Learn what to put in your survival kit and how to use it, how to make shelters, fire, generate water, the signal for help, and keep the right attitude in a survival situation.

  • Saturday, February 9 (10am–2pm)

  • Location: ADF&G Main Office and Creamer's Field, Fairbanks.

  • Limited seats

  • GSA vehicle will be provided.
