Enhance your confidence when recreating in Alaska with the Bear Safety Class presented by the Alaska Department of Fish & Game Division of Wildlife.
Learn about basic bear biology, bear ID (Griz vs black), bear behaviors, safety tips for traveling in the woods, type of firearms or other deterrents to carry, and how to react for a positive outcome in the event of an encounter.
